5. I copied the dude who ordered the 6$ sushi pieces of fatty tuna. It was great. I copied the little Argentinian boy with the perfect family that ordered cheese pizza with prosciutto from the Kid's Menu. I copied the old man that had carrot and ginger soup. I even copied his water and lemon. I'm ready to do that New York Magazine food editorial now...
6. Busy stopped the music and waited for the crowd to get dead silent so he could tell us a little story. "I went to Park Centrale today and it was very beautiful and the wind was blowing through the trees (pause for dramatic effect)... The leaves WERE MAKING MORE NOISE THAN THIS CROWD!!!" And everybody started screaming to prove him wrong.
7. "We have... THE MASTER... Stretch... We have... THE JEDI... A-Track.... We have... THE NINJA... P..." Busy P onstage introducing the DJs that came to pay respect.
8. Jake was in the fashion show. The last time I saw him he was going on a first date with a girl he had just met, and tonight they were together. Hot.
9. Katy Perry describes her music as a mixture of Alanis Morrisette, Freddie Mercury and Liza Minelli. She's 22. She was born in Santa Barbara and studied classical opera. Her album drops in February but she has an EP coming out in November called (starts singing) "You're so gay, but you don't even like, no you don't even like... boys..."
10. "I'm totally lost... I'm here in New York working for a few magazines in Europe and Japan, and to visit friends and to party... I'm also taking pictures. I use a camera that is a wedding between a Japanese camera, the Ricoh and a Leica flash. It looks very old school like a Bulgarian camera from the eightees. During fashion week people are beautiful and boring at the same time. People are too predictable during Fashion Week. In Paris, people are not interested by fashion, the industry is big, but... in New York people are more interested in having fun with it. I went to Six Six Sick last week and that was a very nice party."

Junior's Advice... When you submit a treatment for a band's video you shouldn't even listen to the song. Junior thought I should just do a treatment for "Light and Noise" based on the title and submit it to the label. Ultragrrrl had just told me that they were accepting treatments for the next single which happens to be the last song The Photo Atlas played before they got off stage. It was the only song I heard. I went home and put it on repeat while I answered my Myspace messages at 5am.

Yesterday, 4 cops were sitting at a table in a diner next to me, and one of them knocked over his chair while he was getting up. I liked the way it looked so I went to take the picture. He panicked and tried to pick up the chair before I could take the picture.
Lady cop (to clumsy cop): No, leave it, leave it on the floor. (click)
